We use battle-tested PRINCIPLES to help you find new answers to old questions. We are not interested in generating “me too” processes or answers.
IDEATE: is the ability to use many different methods to generate and blend both convergent and divergent ideas without constraints. The tools we use work with internal and/or external groups. They are applicable to products, services, improved processes, or eliminating pain points.
INNOVATE: is the process of maturing ideas into marketable products or services. We teach the team to “plus up” ideas. The result? Concept(s) that can successfully move forward in a given organization.
VALIDATE: is the final step before a concept can be released into a standard “stage gate” process. Using facts and analysis, the team learns to confirm that the concept(s) is one that should be (not can be) advanced based on the needs, constraints, and culture of the organization. At a minimum, teams evaluate Tolerability (it aligns with the organization), Desirability (customers will buy it), Feasibility (it can be made), and Viability (the organization will generate an acceptable return on their investment).
ACCELERATE: increases the velocity with which a concept can be managed through an existing stage gate process. This may include moving validated concepts to Minimally Viable Prototypes (MVP) that can be tested in the market, improved based on feedback from potential customers, and continually iterated until it is judged ready for market.
CULTURE: is the glue that holds an operation together. It is important to build an environment within the organization that engages in the four principles defined above, can accept failure, is long term oriented, celebrates new possibilities, and provides opportunities for ideas to be nurtured and grown.

Bill is the author of New York Times bestseller, Thought Revolution. Bill was appointed to a two-year term on the U.S. Federal Reserve Board Banker’s council in 2008. Bill leads Ideation sessions where he helps teams tackle their thorniest problems.
Ken created one of the first 3D Building Information Management graphic systems for the architectural industry. As the Chief Knowledge Officer for HOK (at the time, the largest architectural firm in the world) he delivered creative solutions using Biomimicry, Blue Ocean, and other advanced creative concepts. Ken was the founding Executive Director of the BuildingSMART Alliance. Ken teaches in the schools of Engineering and Business at Saint Louis University. Ken helps companies with ideation, business modeling (using the Lean Canvas), and the application of design thinking to the definition of new products and/or services.
As VP of Innovation for Anheuser-Busch InBev, Pat was responsible for introducing new products, new packaging and new brands. Over a 10-year period Pat created $8.2 Billion of new sales and is widely recognized for building one of the first and most successful innovation departments in the Fortune 500. Pat has thirty years of corporate sales, marketing, brand management and product development. , Pat enjoys assisting organizations today who seek to break the mold and feel the pressure to innovate.
Dan created and licensed a product (Waterbabies) that has sold over 22 million units. Dan developed the Great American Toy Hunt and the AvaStars platform of customized 3D digital and physical products. Dan has been featured in both Business Week and Entrepreneur Magazine for his twenty-five years of successful innovation and entrepreneurship. He provides companies a unique, facilitated process of ideation and innovation that drives creativity and results.
Steve helps companies solve problems and discover innovative solutions to the unique challenges they face. Steve most recently served as the Entrepreneur in Residence at Boeing Ventures. Steve teaches Corporate Entrepreneurship in the MBA program at Saint Louis University, founded and manages the St. Louis Innovation Roundtable and is an active participant in the Gateway Venture Mentoring Service and the St. Louis Regional Entrepreneurship Educators.
